Rain or Shine 5 @ the Center Marched On!

Lightning, thunder, and torrential rains kept the 5th Anniversary celebration indoors, but spirits were high for all who attended the event Saturday, August 28.  Residents provided a range of activities, from cupcake decoration to scrabble, and the stage was a kaleidoscope of activities: jazzercise, hip hop demonstrations, drum circle, and a youth rock band.  5 @ the Center marked 5 years since the opening of the John and Georgene Arts & Education Pavilion, the section of the Center for the Arts that houses the majority of the 17 resident organizations of the Center.  The Center hosts approximately 100,000 visits per year for activities, exhibits, classes and performances. Plan to join us for 6 @ the Center next year!
